For this year’s I Art My Science exhibition, patterns and exploration were chosen as themes because they embody the essence of scientific discovery. Pattern can be recognized throughout the natural world. Exploration, on the other hand, fuels the quest for new knowledge, encouraging scientists to venture into the unknown, challenge boundaries, and embrace curiosity.  Themes that also resonate within the art world. Through exploration, artists push the boundaries of their medium, experimenting with new techniques, materials, and perspectives. Just as scientists uncover patterns to deepen their understanding, artists explore new realms of creativity. This intersection of art and science reveals a shared pursuit to inspire and inform us about the world around us and our relentless drive to unearth its hidden mysteries.
